Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is a American animal rights advocate, writer also a model, actor and author. Ali MacGraw is known for her roles in films like Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. When she was in New York, she was born and brought up in an artistic family. After working as assistant to photographers then she turned her attention to acting and modeling. The first two films she made got noticed and earned her the Golden Globe Award of Most promising newcomer. MacGraw's film Love Story proved a major success and earned her international fame and several awards including an Academy Award' nomination and a Golden Globe award. In just three films, she became the top female box-office star worldwide. At Grauman's Chinese Theater In 1972, she got her handprints and signature engraved. She was a part of several other movies, including The Getaway Convoy Players and television miniseries The Winds of War among many others. In 1991, her autobiography Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw has married thrice.
