Lindsey Vonn (born 18 Oct 1984) is an ex-retired American alpine ski champion who won silver in the downhill section of the Winter Olympics 2010. She ranks second amongst all skiers, male and female on the basis of super scores. She's among the world's greatest skiers as well as the most popular skier in America. Lindsey American World Cup alpine ski racer Caroline Vonn also known as Lindsey Vonn competes for the US Ski Team. There have been four occasions she was awarded the title of winner in the World Cup overall competition. She is one of the most popular athletes in American the history of sports. She is among only six women who have been successful at all five World Cup competitions in alpine. She won the World Cup 82 times. The best skier on the planet and the top American racer in ski racing have announced their retirement after their participation in the World Championship in Sweden. A string of health problems caused her to become a Four-time World Cup Overall Champion to decide that she would retire. The former World Cup overall champion announced her retirement via social media. In the coming week, I'll take part in the final race to end my career in the Downhill World Championships, as well as at the SG World Championships held in Re Sweden.
