Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American actress, performer, and writer, best recognized for her role as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. The stage debut of her career started in the mid 1950s when she appeared in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. She continued to perform in various Broadway productions until she made it big on the national theatre area with Li'l abner's in 1957. In 1957, she also released her debut music album called It's time for Tina. Her debut appearance in Hollywood was in the role of Griselda in God's Little Acre, a 1958 film. It received wide acclaim. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category. When she was an undergraduate in Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. She signed on with CBS in 1964 to portray Ginger Grant. Louise worked successfully in both Hollywood as well as Broadway, playing somber characters that reflected her reputation as a the glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series, as well as Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In the last few years Tapping has also emerged as a popular director for well-known television shows like Supernatural or The 100. Born in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. She and her family moved to Toronto at the age of three and she continued to live there throughout her childhood and adolescence. When she was selected in 1997 for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living there since then.
