Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen, an American actor and singer-songwriter hailing from St. Louis Missouri. Her most famous work is her character on the CW TV series Gossip Girl as Jenny Humphrey and as lead singer of The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's songs have been featured in television and film shows such as How to Be a Single and Going the Distance. Taylor Momsen has one younger sister named Sloane Momsen. Her dance training was at St. Louis' Center of Creative Arts. When she was three She began her acting career as a professional as a part of a nationally telecast Shake and Bake commercial. Momsen's acting profession was put on hold for three years before she landed the leading part in Misconceptions. Momsen also starred in Saving Shiloh the 2006 film. Also, Momsen auditioned for the role of lead in Hannah Montana. She was one of the top three however, Miley was given the part.
