Lisa Olivia Munn is a native of Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid lived in Vietnam with Chinese ancestry while Winston Barrett Munn's family is roots deep in the American South. Olivia's parents separated at the age of 2. Her family consisted of her mother who was with the United States Air Force, as well as her stepfather. The majority of her childhood was spent in Tokyo, Japan, even though the family moved around a lot. During this time she was a part of several local theatre productions. Later, she began modeling within the Japanese fashion business. Olivia has moved with her family to Los Angeles in order to fulfil her dream to be an actress and continued working towards that goal even after her family returned to America. After a few minor performances, Olivia achieved success when she got the role in the role of Mily Acua on the Hawaii filmed TV program Beyond the Break 2006 and the receptionist for Rob Schneider. She hosts the podcasts "Formula D", "The Daily Nut" along with "The Daily Nut". Her love of surfing has been evident since the 2006 TV program Beyond the Break. She is also a black-belt in Taekwondo. In the age of two, her mom remarried. This time she married an US Air Force serviceman. While the family was relocated many times, the bulk of her existence was in Tokyo Japan which was the place where her stepfather worked for the military. The university she attended was her studies at University of Oklahoma, where she earned a degree in journalism. She also minored in Japanese and drama arts.
