Hayley is an American actor and singer. A lot of people recognize her from her role as Erica Goldberg on the popular comedy television series 'The Goldbergs.' Even though she sings, her primary passion is music. Music, according to her, is first thing she enjoys. She started playing with it at age nine. When she was 12 years old, music became seriously enough that she began formal training. When she was 13, she started creating songs. Her debut album at 14 years old. It was the beginning of her career. Orrantia was born in the USA but holds Hispanic roots. Her family has Hispanic roots even though she only spoke English when a young girl and spent her entire life in the United States. In order to preserve her heritage she's learning Spanish. Additionally, she creates songs based on the language. One of her songs was the creation of a Spanish song titled 'Hasta Verte..' Orrantia auditioned for The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia had been chosen through YouTube videos, received the four "yeses," from judges who were in Seattle during live audition phase. She originally auditioned solo, however, during "Hollywood week" she was placed together with three female singers to form a trio during the remaining auditions. They were eliminated during the fifth week in the live shows.
